Students are encouraged to join a wide variety of clubs and societies which exist at lunchtime and after school. Clubs linked directly to subject areas, such as Art, Computing, Cookery, Technology and Maths, enhance classroom learning and enjoyment but also allow students to explore ideas outside the curriculum.
Music and Drama play a major part in the life of the school; as well as engaging and inspiring students during lessons, staff help deliver a variety of extra-curricular activities. These include Choral Society, Orchestra, Junior and Senior Jazz Bands, Drama and Film clubs. Other clubs like Amnesty, Chess, Debating, Film, Japan and Warhammer ensure that all students are able to join and lead groups catering for a range of hobbies and interests.
